Job Title: Midday Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our Lunchtime Team as a Midday Assistant. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and safety of our children during lunchtimes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support and supervise children during lunchtimes to promote a positive and inclusive environment.
  • Encourage children to follow our school's values and ethos, including our Christian vision and 'The All Saints' Way'.
  • Work closely with the school team to ensure effective communication and a calm lunchtime atmosphere.
  • Use positive behaviour management techniques to promote good behaviour and respect among children.
  • Be an excellent role model for communication with children and demonstrate a caring manner at all times.
Requirements:
  • Respect our Christian vision, ethos, and values.
  • Adhere to our 'Relationships Policy' for rewards and sanctions.
  • Demonstrate a caring manner with all children.
  • Work closely with the school team.
  • Promote calm lunchtimes around school where all can feel comfortable.
  • Have effective communication skills with adults and be an excellent role model for communication with children.
  • Use positive behaviour management techniques.
  • Show professionalism at all times around school.
