About the Role:
GSL Education is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Drama Teacher to join our team of educators. As a Drama Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that inspire students to develop their performance skills and confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver high-quality drama lessons that cater to students of varying abilities.
- Foster a love for drama and the performing arts, encouraging students to express themselves creatively.
- Plan and organize school performances, productions, and extracurricular drama activities.
- Monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to enhance their learning experience.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate drama into the wider curriculum and school events.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialism in Drama preferred.
- Proven experience teaching Drama in a school setting or to children.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for the performing arts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and motivate students.
- A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
