Job Title: Steel Fixer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Steel Fixer to join our team at Options Resourcing Careers. As a Steel Fixer, you will be responsible for fabricating and installing iron and steel structures, using power tools, hand tools, and welding equipment to cut, shape, and weld metal components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate and install iron and steel structures such as beams, columns, and girders
  • Use power tools, hand tools, and welding equipment to cut, shape, and weld metal components
  • Perform heavy lifting and work at heights to assemble structural components
  • Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects
  • Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a secure work environment
  • Conduct inspections to identify structural issues and make necessary repairs

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Ironworker or similar role in the construction industry
  • Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, welding equipment, and other machinery

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position with a competitive hourly rate of £24.00. The schedule is Monday to Friday, and the work location is in person.
