The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project teams, including design and supply chain, to ensure safe and quality delivery of projects on time and within budget to client satisfaction.

Pre-Contract Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project plans and schedules to ensure timely completion.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and opportunities.
  • Participate in the preparation of tender submissions, including site visits as necessary.

Post-Contract Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage production and commercial procedures across all projects.
  • Collaborate with the profit centre surveyor to prepare contract budgets and monitor performance.
  • Ensure compliance with Company safety, health, environmental, and quality procedures.
  • Lead contract review meetings and ensure all relevant information is reviewed and actioned.
  • Manage project contracts and amendments, including procurement and placement of sub-contractor and supplier orders.
  • Recruit and manage site personnel in accordance with Company HR policies and procedures.
  • Champion quality standards and lead investigations into non-conformance.
  • Implement disciplines for management of labour, sub-contractor, materials, and plant costs.
  • Attend and chair Contract Review Meetings as necessary.
  • Ensure delays are properly recorded to protect company position and ensure contractual entitlement.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, project teams, design teams, and supply chain partners.
  • Ensure a smooth handover of projects, including all necessary documents and activities.
