Opportunity Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our Specialist Resourced Provision team, supporting children with Speech, Language, and Communication Needs (SLCN) in an inclusive learning environment.

About the Role

  • Support individual and groups of children in line with their Individual Education Plans (IEPs), fostering their interest in learning and promoting social development.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to plan, deliver, and evaluate learning activities, enhancing literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Participate in behavior management programs, ensuring a positive and supportive atmosphere for all pupils.
  • Regularly contribute to SEN meetings, working closely with colleagues to meet the emotional and social needs of students.

What We're Looking For

  • An enthusiastic and empathetic professional with experience working with children who have SLCN, preferably with Signalong training or willingness to learn.
  • A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, able to build relationships with parents, colleagues, and students.
  • A positive and dedicated team player committed to achieving high standards of behavior and academic success.
