About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Assessor to join our team at Learning Curve Group. As a key member of our Construction Academies division, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality training and assessment to our learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Timetables: Work with the Academy Manager to create and deliver a timetable of learning that meets the needs of our learners.
  • Qualification Delivery: Collaborate with team members and the Academy Manager to plan and deliver qualifications that meet the requirements of LCG and external stakeholders.
  • Documentation and Registers: Complete all required registers and documentation to the highest standards, ensuring timely communication with colleagues.
  • Learner Monitoring: Regularly monitor attendance and performance of learners, providing effective feedback and reporting to management.
  • Portfolio Submission: Submit portfolios in a timely manner for interim and summative verification to the internal moderator.
  • Health and Safety: Promote and ensure safe working practices in line with current Health and Safety legislation, including health and safety department inspections and risk assessments.
  • Work Area Maintenance: Ensure the work area is clean and safe for all staff and learners on a daily basis.
  • Weekend Courses: Deliver weekend courses on a rotation basis, shared with other team members as required.

  • Safeguarding: Comply with the Safeguarding, Prevent, and Health and Safety Policies, being vigilant to potential concerns and risks at all times.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Qualified up to Level 3 in Joinery and relevant Teaching & Assessing Qualifications.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the Education and Training Industry.
