The Data Protection Consultant will work under the Data Protection Act to manage and allocate administrative workloads within the department. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying information to be released to outside agencies and individuals, adhering to data protection regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and allocate administrative workloads within the department
  • Identify information to be released to outside agencies and individuals
  • Adhere to data protection regulations, including the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Access to Health Records Act 1990

Person Specification:

  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent, including English and Maths
  • NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent qualification and experience
  • Practical data protection knowledge and experience
  • Previous experience of working within an office environment
  • Experience of working with Windows-based packages, including Word, Excel, and Access Database
