Job Title: Machinist

First Achieve Ltd is seeking a skilled Machinist to join their Engineering Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating machine tools to produce high-quality parts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Machine Operation: Set up and operate a variety of machine tools, including lathes, milling machines, grinders, and CNC equipment, to produce parts according to specifications.
  • Drawings and Interpretation: Analyze and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documents to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces.
  • Precision Machining: Perform precision machining operations on metal and non-metal materials to create components that meet strict quality standards.
  • Quality Control: Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet specified tolerances and quality standards using precision measuring tools.
Requirements:
  • Time Served Engineer: Apprenticeship, HNC, or HND in a relevant field.
  • Experience: CNC or manual machining environment, particularly with Fanuc controls.
