The Role
We're seeking skilled Freelance Carpenters/Installers to assist our in-house production team in building and finishing projects for retail spaces. Your role will involve working with technical drawings, troubleshooting fabrication issues, and maintaining high-quality standards.
Requirements
We're looking for freelancers with:
- A wide range of carpentry/fabrication skills and experience
- Prior experience working on set builds/creative retail production
- Art/window installation expertise
- Strong organisational and communicative skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills, including the ability to troubleshoot fabrication issues
- Able to work efficiently to meet project deadlines
Location: Our workshop or on-site/in-store depending on the project
Hours: Optional 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm in the workshop; overnight installations may be required
Salary: Competitive day rate (approximately £35-£50 per hour) + overtime/weekend rates paid at 1.5x hourly rate
