About the Role

Churchill Estates Management Ltd is seeking a seasoned Building Surveyor to lead site-based external and internal property surveys across our expansive portfolio of retirement developments nationwide. This critical role requires reliable and robust stock condition data, enabling us to maintain full compliance with legislation and regulations. As a key member of our Property Services team, you will inform future asset management and maintenance strategies, ensuring the highest standards of retirement accommodation for our Homeowners.

This exciting opportunity involves working closely with stakeholders, including Health & Safety Executive, Lodge Managers, and Area Management teams, to provide expert guidance on Section 20 major works consultations. You will report to our Property Services Manager based in Hampshire, requiring occasional travel to our Head Office. Your strong communication skills and ability to effectively collaborate with contractors, customers, and internal stakeholders are essential for success in this position.

To be considered, you must have a relevant construction or property subject HNC or degree, preferably accompanied by a professional qualification such as RICS, CIOB, or ABE. Holding a CSCS card is also mandatory. With at least some experience within the construction or property management industry, you should possess excellent knowledge of Health & Safety, Building Regulations, Fire Safety, and Asbestos Awareness.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will bring exceptional organisational skills, proficiency in MS Excel, and a proactive approach to work. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate a keen eye for detail, and adopt a 'can-do' attitude.
