Job Title: Maintenance Engineer - Heavy Industry

My client, a leading company in the engineering and manufacturing sector, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of equipment and machinery in a heavy industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods to optimize equipment performance
  • Carry out routine maintenance work and respond to equipment faults in a timely and efficient manner
  • Diagnose breakdown problems and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime
  • Liaise with client departments, customers, and other engineering and production colleagues to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Arrange specialist procurement of fixtures, fittings, or components as required
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a heavy industrial maintenance environment
  • Knowledge of three-phase power systems
  • Diving license (desirable)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
