Job Overview
  We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Market Intelligence Lead to join our team at Barclay Simpson. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving our organization's financial markets and group treasury functions across all asset classes. About the Position
  As a Regulatory Market Intelligence Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing market data sourcing, transformations, modeling, and proxies. Your expertise will have a lasting impact on our organization's financial markets and group treasury functions across all asset classes. You will work closely with our Traded Risk Management department, which includes market risk, product control, and counterparty credit risk.

Key Responsibilities
  Your primary responsibilities will include:
    • Market data analysis and visualization
    • Derivatives pricing and risk management
    • Collaboration with traders and structurers to drive business growth
    • Development and implementation of market data solutions using Python programming language
    • Strong quantitative knowledge of several asset classes, their risks, and pricing
    • Deep understanding of market risk metrics (e.g., VaR, HVaR, IRC) and market risk capital requirements

Requirements
  To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., mathematics, statistics, computer science)
    • 3+ years of experience in market risk management or a related field
    • Strong programming skills in Python, particularly for building solutions with large datasets
    • Experience with SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and deliver results under tight deadlines
    • Salary: £80,000 - £110,000 per annum depending on experience
