We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nature Delivery Officer to join our team at SSE Enterprise. As a key member of our Consents & Environment team, you will play a crucial role in driving the delivery of Biodiversity Net Gain, Irreplaceable Habitat, and other nature commitments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure projects deliver against business and regulatory targets.
  • Manage relationships with key regional delivery partners for third-party nature restoration programs.
  • Provide accurate and timely data on regional Biodiversity Net Gain, Irreplaceable Habitat, and other nature target delivery statistics.
  • Offer technical expertise on project site visits to guide decisions on habitat assessments.
  • Track the delivery and achievement of offsite nature enhancement programs.
What We're Looking For

We're seeking a candidate with:

  • Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Demonstrable organizational skills and ability to manage large datasets.
  • Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
  • Knowledge of national and international biodiversity regulation.
  • Experience running and delivering projects to deliver nature enhancement.
