Job Title – Mechanical Design Engineer (Data Centres)

Location: Bristol / Cardiff

Arup is seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in Bristol. As a key member of our data centre design team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality mechanical services designs for data centre projects.

You will have the opportunity to work on a range of projects, including data centres, mission critical facilities, and large-scale site infrastructure decarbonisation projects. We are looking for a candidate who:

  • Has experience in mechanical services design on a range of projects with a background in Data Centre design but also including mission critical facilities such as healthcare, manufacturing, aviation, laboratory, and industrial facilities.
  • Is a qualified Mechanical Engineer or similar, preferably to MEng level.
  • Has a sound working knowledge of Revit MEP.
  • Has experience supervising and providing technical mentorship to Graduate Mechanical Engineers and Technicians.
