Join us as a Cadet Program Director and contribute to the development of our young people within the Cadet Force at School.

Old Swinford Hospital is a leading state boarding school that values diversity, with approximately a third of our pupils being day students participating in activities like the Cadet Force, Duke of Edinburgh Award, sports, and music.

The school is undergoing an exciting transformation to become fully co-educational by 2025.

The Cadet Force experience offers a range of opportunities, including regular parades, residential weekends, shooting competitions, and an annual camp at Nescliffe.

We take pride in representing our school at Stourbridge's Remembrance Sunday parade and service, and holding our own annual memorial for OSH pupils who made the ultimate sacrifice in the World Wars and recent conflicts.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Contingent Commander and School Staff Instructor to deliver Cadet Force programs
  • Develop and implement training programs for cadets
  • Set a positive example for military standards of discipline and commitment
  • Ensure compliance with administrative, operational, and health and safety procedures
  • Monitor participants' progress through the Cadet Force program
  • Participate in Annual Camp preparation and activities

Salary: £28,000 - £38,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
