Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Process Specialist to join our team at CV-Library. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in supporting the capability assessment of suppliers and source selection and approval in the supply chain.

This is a 12-month contract based in Winsford (hybrid) with our globally respected client who develops cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe, and competitive solutions to meet the planet's vital power needs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing processes and systems, with experience in the production and maintenance of power generation, electrical control, and distribution equipment. A deep understanding of applicable Regulatory and Industry Codes and Standards is also essential.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that manufacturing and related operational processes are compliant with Health, Safety & Environmental Standards and meet the expectations of the Zero Harm programme. You will also be responsible for technical support for new product or managed service introduction, working closely with the wider engineering team and operations.

A degree qualified in a relevant Engineering/Manufacturing discipline or equivalent experience-based knowledge is required, as well as good knowledge of manufacturing processes and systems. The ability to make sound, logical decisions based on available data and professional courage to highlight areas of concern and risk regarding suitability of a process to meet its requirements for safety and fitness for purpose is also necessary.

Please note that due to recent changes in Off Payroll (IR35) legislation, our client only operates with contractors that operate via a PAYE or Umbrella model. We offer a competitive salary of £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits.
