Quality Assurance Manager

Job Summary:
The Quality Control Manager will oversee and ensure the quality of MRO, Surface Treatment and Assembly and test in production within the Operations department. This role is critical in maintaining product quality standards, minimizing non-quality costs, and ensuring compliance with internal and external quality standards.
Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee Quality Control of MRO, Surface Treatment and Assembly and test: Ensure adherence to quality standards throughout all production phases.
- Team Management: Lead and manage a team of quality professionals, ensuring they meet their targets and objectives.
- Non-Quality Cost Management: Track, analyze, and report on non-quality costs, including rejections and reworks. Implement strategies to reduce these costs.
- Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA): Prepare and implement RCCA for identified issues, and ensure the proper corrective measures are taken to avoid future non-conformities.
- Escapes Analysis: Provide support in analyzing and preventing escapes (missed non-conformities) by developing appropriate preventive measures.
- Improvement Plans: Develop and execute continuous improvement plans aimed at enhancing product quality, reducing waste, and increasing efficiency.
- Interdepartmental Coordination: Facilitate and coordinate quality-related deviations between different departments to resolve issues and maintain workflow integrity.
- Internal Audits and Spot Checks: Conduct regular internal audits and spot checks to ensure compliance with internal quality standards and procedures.
- External Audit Support: Assist in preparing for and supporting external audits to ensure successful compliance and certification with industry standards.
- Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs): Ensure proper follow-up on NCRs, making sure action plans are implemented and completed in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience managing a team of quality engineers and inspectors.
- Expertise in Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action (RCCA).
- Knowledge of quality standards and methodologies (ISO 1, Lean Six Sigma).
- Desirable knowledge on EASA/CAA Part & Part .
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and quality management software.
