Wildlife Conservation Specialist

Pebble Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Wildlife Conservation Specialist to join its team of skilled ecologists and environmental professionals. As an integral part of the company's delivery team, you will be responsible for conducting protected species surveys and habitat assessments, ensuring compliance with UK wildlife legislation.

The ideal candidate will have 2-3+ years of experience in the ecology sector, a degree in Ecology, Environmental Management, or a related discipline, and a comprehensive understanding of UK wildlife legislation. A protected species license is desirable but not essential. The successful candidate will be expected to work collaboratively with a team of skilled ecologists and environmental professionals.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Ecologist to contribute to the success of PEBBLE RECRUITMENT LTD. The salary for this role is £25,500 - £31,500 per annum, depending on experience. Main Responsibilities:

• Conduct protected species surveys and habitat assessments
• Assist in preparing tenders and fee quotations
• Produce technical reports (Bat, PEA, BNG, protected species reports)
• Manage small to medium-sized projects, with potential involvement in larger schemes

Requirements:

• 2-3+ years of experience in the ecology sector
• Degree in Ecology, Environmental Management, or related discipline
• Protected species license (desirable)
• Comprehensive understanding of UK wildlife legislation
• Full UK driving license
