We are seeking a Financial Controls Expert to join our Group Operational Audit function at Rsgroup.

About the Role

In this key role, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and completing operational audits both in the UK and overseas. You will need to have a strong understanding of internal audit methodologies, risk management, and internal control frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing the design and effectiveness of relevant operational and financial controls through operational audits.
  • Identifying risk areas and offering solutions to mitigate potential issues.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with functions across the group to enhance the overall risk management framework.
  • Supporting a high-performing operational audit team and fostering a culture of accountability, integrity, and continuous improvement within the team.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have experience in external/internal audit and risk management, as well as a relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field. They will also possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain, justify, manage, and resolve risk and internal control observations effectively and efficiently.

Compensation and Benefits

Rsgroup offers a competitive salary of £75,000 per annum, plus additional benefits including private healthcare, generous holiday allowance, and access to a range of training and development opportunities.
