Job Title: Technical Manager

Join our team as a Technical Manager at Bakkavor Meals in London, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Manager to join our team in Park Royal, West London. As a Technical Manager, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining food manufacturers' food safety and legal systems, as well as compliance to customer codes of practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carrying out generic and group-based risk assessments, completing and maintaining all relevant HACCP documentation ensuring cross-site compatibility where appropriate
  • Planning and carrying out process audits to verify output from accountabilities 1, 2, 3 are correctly and effectively implemented
  • Undertaking project work as directed by the Technical Manager or Quality Assurance Manager designed to understand raw materials or processes to improve product quality and safety
  • Collating, maintaining and trending data required by the Quality Management system e.g. nutritional testing, GMP audits, taste panel results etc.
About You:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual with a strong background in food safety and quality assurance. You will have a HACCP certification to level 3 or an equivalent food-related Degree, training or practical experience on allergen management, and training and practical experience in the use of data loggers (programming, downloading data and data interpretations).
