Job Description

The Savoy, a Fairmont Managed Hotel, is a renowned leader in the hospitality industry, offering outstanding service and excellence. As a Cloakroom Attendant, you will be responsible for the hotel's cloakrooms, ensuring ongoing service and cleanliness. Your duties will include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service, responding to guest needs, and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Ensuring the cloakrooms are clean and well-maintained, with a constant supply of clean hand towels and other essentials.
  • Monitoring and replacing paper requirements in a timely manner, maintaining stock of additional items, and providing shoe shine services as needed.
  • Cooperating fully with other operating departments in the hotel, including Valet and Security.
  • Acting as an ambassador for the hotel, interacting with guests and patrons in a positive and engaging manner.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years' experience working in the hospitality industry.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A confident and dynamic speaker, able to communicate and interact effectively with all levels of an organization.
  • Enthusiastic and positive personality, with the ability to build trusting relationships with others.
  • Proven organizational skills, with the ability to work well on their own and meet deadlines with quality results.
