Job Title:

A Financial Account Resolution Specialist at Intermountain Healthcare plays a pivotal role in ensuring timely and accurate payment of patient accounts within the organization's policies and procedures.

This position requires strong analytical and communication skills to effectively resolve billing discrepancies, negotiate with payers, and maintain accurate account demographics.

The estimated salary for this role is $18.00 - $23.50 per hour, based on industry standards and location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Submit bills and follow up on patient accounts to ensure prompt receipt of payments.
  • Analyze claims for acceptance, rejection, or denial to ensure proper payments are received.
  • Maintain account demographics, including payer information, accuracy, and updates.
  • Satisfy all organizational requirements for procedural, operational, and compliance training and updates.
  • Meet expected productivity and quality standards by working daily, weekly, and monthly reports timely and accurately.

Requirements:

  • Two years of customer service experience.
  • Keyboarding experience.
  • Demonstrated good interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a professional office setting.
  • Billing or collections experience.
