Michael Page (UK) is a leading recruitment agency with a strong presence in the UK market. Our client, a highly successful firm, is seeking a qualified Tax Accountant to join their team in Taunton.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining involvement in the delivery of year-end accounts, while gaining exposure to mixed tax across both corporate and personal tax compliance. Key responsibilities include preparing and reviewing personal and corporation tax returns, working with the team on planning and tax advisory projects, and engaging in IHT, Trust work, and other private client planning.
RequirementsACA/ACCA qualified, with potential for further study on offer for CTA. A background developed within accountancy practice, with specialization in mixed tax, personal tax, or corporate tax is preferred. Alternatively, a mixed year-end accounts/audit/tax role with a genuine interest in developing a tax career is also considered.
