Reporting Radiographer Band 7 Position

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Reporting Radiographer to join our team at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in advancing our Reporting Service and ensuring that scans are reported with the utmost excellence within the appropriate time frame.
Main Responsibilities- Undertake independent image interpretation in line with their scope of practice, providing detailed written or verbal reports to referring clinicians to determine diagnosis where applicable.
- Organize workload in areas of delegated responsibility on a daily basis, maximizing efficiency using available resources and managing patient priority as appropriate.
- Conduct examinations, producing high-quality diagnostic images across a range of modalities, ensuring safe practice is carried out in accordance with departmental protocols and in line with their clinical scope of practice.
- BSc(Hons) Radiography, DCR(D) Diploma of the College of Radiographers or Equivalent
- PgCert/PgDip/MSc (or equivalent) plain film reporting
- Relevant post-qualification experience as a senior radiographer in multiple modalities, as demonstrated by portfolio
- Experience of monitoring junior staff
