Assistant Store Manager

At Dynamix Recruitment Limited, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Store Manager to join our team. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, leading and developing your team, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Set realistic objectives and targets, leading by example with impeccable standards of presentation throughout.
- Recruit, coach, develop, and regularly review your team, managing all sales, compliance, and HR-related processes in a timely manner.
- Work well within a team and build strong business relationships both internally and externally.
- Communicate effectively at all levels using the appropriate methods and language.
- Drive all commercial activity within the store, ensuring the effective use of the sales process throughout the team.
- Pro-actively control and manage all existing and potential customer data, understanding the local market and competition.
- Understand and manage KPI performance reporting and follow up with appropriate actions.
- Drive a high level of transactional compliance within the store team and ensure robust procedures for fraud prevention.
- Control discount levels and regularly review transactions carried out by the team to meet set objectives.
- Pro-actively manage all processes and ensure compliance by regular self-assessment using the weekly Store Audit.
- Take accountability for H&S within the Store, including a 100% completion rate of the Monthly H&S Checklist to ensure that the store is a safe place to work and buy from.
- Demonstrate and encourage exemplary customer service at all times.
- Actively manage any complaints received, to ensure satisfactory resolution in a timely manner, in line with company standards.
- Compliance with the Store Commercial & Development plans as agreed with the Area Manager.
- Compliance with all Operational Procedures and Policies as determined by the Business.
- Compliance with all Health & Safety Regulations, in line with the Health & Safety Manager.
- Compliance with the Grey Fleet & Hire car policy as determined by the Business.
