We are seeking an experienced Financial Data Sourcing Director to join our Glasgow Finance division. As a key member of the Data Sourcing Team, you will play a crucial role in supporting Finance through the delivery of Data Sourcing and Systems Governance initiatives.



Job Description:



The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, proficient Microsoft Office skills with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint, and experience in data sourcing and governance. You will also have a solid understanding of financial products and knowledge of Agile Project Management methodologies and Alteryx.



You will be responsible for delivering data sourcing projects, communicating with a diverse group of professionals, and partnering with IT to deliver new data sourcing using Agile methodology. Additionally, you will work with clients and IT colleagues to document and prioritize business requirements, identify strategic sources for new data, and deliver analysis and testing including reconciliations between legacy and new systems.



Key Responsibilities:




  2. Data sourcing project delivery including business analysis and program management.
  3. Communicate and work alongside a diverse group of professionals in Finance and across the Firm.
  4. Partner with IT to deliver new data sourcing using Agile methodology.
  5. Work with clients and IT colleagues to document and prioritize business requirements.
  6. Identify strategic sources for new data.
  7. Deliver analysis and testing including reconciliations between legacy and new systems.
