We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at a privately owned care home in Sleaford. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, promoting their independence, dignity, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional care and support to residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Lead by example, promoting good practice and challenging poor practice among team members.
  • Take responsibility for leading shifts, ensuring high standards are maintained and team members feel supported.
  • Complete daily medication rounds and document accurately, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Investigate complaints and concerns, working closely with the Home Manager to resolve issues.

Requirements:

  • Relevant professional qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
  • Experience in administering medication and updating care plans.
  • Leadership and time management skills, with the ability to work effectively on a rota basis.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • A full UK driving license and reliable transportation.
