About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Biased Maintenance Team Lead to work within a fast-paced production environment in Brixton, leading a team of 6 Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers.

The ideal candidate will have experience working within a production environment, possessing excellent leadership skills and the ability to motivate and mentor their team members.

Key Responsibilities
  1. To lead the maintenance team proactively, ensuring that the company's vision, values and policies are adhered to at all times.
  2. To support the engineering team with hands-on experience across both electrical and mechanical issues, mentoring the team to ensure PPMs, Safe Systems of Work (SSOWs) and working procedures are followed.
  3. To assist the Engineering Manager in ensuring compliance with regulations for fire and alarm systems, PAT, pressure valves etc.
  4. To assist in the planning and directing of operation, maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment as per production requirements.
Requirements and Qualifications
  1. Preferably an Electrical Biased Maintenance Engineer with experience within Production or manufacturing environments.
  2. Current or previous experience of leading, mentoring or coaching a team of Maintenance Engineers or Technicians – CMI Level 3 useful but not essential.
  3. The ability to analyse data and provide findings effectively, influencing others at all levels.
  4. Able to motivate a team using coaching & mentoring to build strong team connections and shared experiences.
  5. Electrical qualifications to C&G/NVQ Level 3.
Salary and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary range of £49,000 to £51,000 per annum, plus overtime, benefits and professional growth opportunities.

The successful candidate will be based in Brixton, with commutable locations including Clapham, Victoria, Lambeth, Morden, London Bridge, Waterloo, Vauxhall and surrounding areas.
