We're looking for a dedicated Income Recovery Specialist to join our team. As an Income Recovery Specialist, you'll play a vital role in managing arrears and ensuring financial inclusion for our residents.

Salary

The annual salary for this position is between £31,870 and £35,519, depending on experience.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and recover arrears from current and former tenants, including rent and lease payments, service charges, and miscellaneous debts.
  • Conduct recovery actions, such as recharges and court proceedings, to minimize losses and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Assist in developing customer accounts to promote financial inclusion and prevent debt accumulation.
  • Maintain accurate records and respond to tenant inquiries regarding account balances and debt obligations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in customer services, preferably within the housing sector, showcasing excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations and conflicts with empathy and professionalism.
  • Familiarity with IT systems and software, enabling effective management and data analysis.
  • Strong organizational skills, flexibility, and adaptability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • A sound understanding of benefits applicable to tenants, with the ability to provide guidance on relevant options.
