Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Chef de Partie to join our team at DDH Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the sous chef in the smooth operation of the kitchen, preparing and cooking dishes to the highest standards, and ensuring a safe and clean working environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist the sous chef in the management of the kitchen, including menu planning, inventory control, and staff supervision.
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to meet the hotel's quality and quantity standards.
- Assist with team management, including training and supporting junior chefs as needed.
- Ensure effective stock management, including purchasing, receiving, and storing ingredients.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety policies and procedures.
- Report for duty punctually, wearing the correct uniform and protective clothing, and adhere to grooming standards.
- Perform other reasonable duties as requested by the sous chef or hotel management.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of ingredients and their uses in creative cooking.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Previous experience in a busy kitchen environment.
