Job Description:

In this challenging and rewarding role, you will be responsible for carrying out thorough examinations and testing of local exhaust ventilation systems, as well as other air quality-related tasks. You will work independently, using your expertise and technical knowledge to identify and resolve any issues that may arise during these tests.

As a Field-based Systems Specialist, you will also be expected to maintain accurate records of all work completed, including submitting reports and evidence of testing. This requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To follow scheduled planned routes provided and ensure all equipment required is prepared prior to travelling.
  • To visit customer's premises and carry out thorough and comprehensive testing examinations to meet the expectations and demands of the customer's needs.
  • To provide evidence of all work carried out via the sign-off process and submit reports in preparation for quality assessment on the same day as testing.
  • To liaise with the operational division regarding any breakdowns, remedial work or any other issues found on site.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • P601 in Thorough Examination and Testing of Local Exhaust Ventilation/s.
  • Good knowledge of Air systems flows / compressors.
  • Face Fit Testing qualification (not Desirable).
  • ICT Skills (Microsoft Word and Excel) and ability to use an IPAD to input data for the creation of quality reports.
  • A professional manner, be organised and have good time keeping.
  • The ability to develop positive relationships with customers, a customer facing role, attending customer locations and representing the Company to a high standard.
  • Driving License for a minimum of 5 years.
