We are seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Pannel Croft Retirement Village, providing high-quality care to residents. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for delivering physical, personal care, and support with social activities. You will promote the well-being and quality of life of our residents, ensuring their needs are met in a respectful and dignified manner.

About the Role

This is a permanent contract for 24 hours per week, with a competitive hourly rate of £34. Our rolling rota allows for a mix of early, late shifts, and weekends. We offer excellent benefits, including 33 days annual leave (FTE) pro rata, buy and sell holiday, and up to 9% employer pension contribution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide all aspects of domiciliary care to residents, promoting independence and dignity.
  • Promote and support the physical, emotional, and well-being of residents through various activities and initiatives.
  • Ensure accurate records and documents are completed in line with policy, maintaining confidentiality and data protection standards.
Requirements
  • Hold a care certificate or be willing to undertake a care qualification, demonstrating commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Show passion for delivering a quality care service, prioritizing resident-centered care and person-centered approaches.
  • Demonstrate flexibility with hours, adapting to changing circumstances and priorities.
