Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Strategic Product Governance Director to join our team in the UK. As a key member of our product governance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet current and future client needs within the UK regulatory framework.

  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure compliance with UK regulations, including Assessment of Value and Consumer Duty assessments.
  • Partner with senior leadership and stakeholders to influence product strategy and drive business growth.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify market opportunities and develop new products.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure effective governance of our UK product range, aligning with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  2. Lead initiatives to create reports on Assessment of Value and Consumer Duty, requiring coordination, data analysis, writing/reporting, and senior leader/board presentations.
  3. Develop new products, research opportunities, and provide analytical support to capture market trends.
  4. Analyze and evaluate innovative product ideas for senior management consideration.
  5. Identify market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activity impacting our UK products.
  6. Conduct market competitiveness analysis, recommend product ideas or focuses, and oversee UK product initiatives & lifecycle.
Requirements:
  • Industry experience with a solid understanding of the investment management and financial services industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of the UK regulatory framework, particularly Assessment of Value and Consumer Duty.
  • Proven project management skills, excellent time management, and follow-through abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience presenting to boards and building relationships with senior leadership.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
