**Job Summary**

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Coatings Specialist to work on the Astute and/or Dreadnought class submarines. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing substrates and applying finishing paint systems to ensure a high-quality finish.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Prepare substrates for painting, including surface cleaning and preparation
* Apply finishing paint systems to meet strict quality standards
* Work collaboratively with the project team to ensure timely completion of tasks
* Maintain a safe and healthy work environment

**Requirements**

* Time served in a related trade, with trade papers and previous experience in shipbuilding/marine/heavy industry
* Ability to work varied shifts, including nights
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to pass security clearance and trade test

**Security Clearance**
