Finance Manager Opportunity

FryerMiles Recruitment Limited is partnering with a PE-backed business in the UK to find a skilled Finance Manager to support their growth phase.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day financial operations, including management of the finance team, financial reporting, and compliance. They will work closely with the Financial Controller, FP&A Manager, and CFO to ensure the financial aspects of the business are managed effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare monthly financial reports and conduct variance analysis.
  2. Collaborate with the financial controller and auditors for a seamless year-end audit.
  3. Manage VAT returns and support annual tax reporting.
  4. Implement a new accounting system and automate purchase approval processes.
  5. Provide system support and mentor the finance team.
Requirements:
  1. Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
  2. Strong understanding of financial controls, compliance, and risk management.
  3. Experience with financial software and ERP systems.
