Job Title: Year 2 Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 2 teacher to join our vibrant and fun primary school in Oxford, Oxfordshire. As a proactive and emotionally intelligent educator, you will play a key role in developing well-rounded, confident pupils through a supportive pastoral environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective classes to Year 2 students based on the National Curriculum.
  • Provide ongoing feedback and support to Year 2 students to encourage growth and development.
  • Create a safe and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices.
  • Use data to inform teaching decisions and adapt instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to provide updates on Year 2 student progress.
  • Attend and contribute to staff meetings and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Proven experience teaching Year 2 in a primary school setting.
  • A solid understanding of the National Curriculum and how to tailor instruction to meet its requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Dedication to providing high-quality education to children.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across various departments and schools.
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities.
