Frontend Developer (React) | Meritus Partnership | Cheltenham | High Level Security Clearance Required | Salary up to £80,000 + £5,000 bonus | Hybrid 2-3 days per week on-site

MERITUS is working with an expanding National Security Consultancy based in Cheltenham looking for a Frontend Developer with experience building web-based applications in React.

As a Frontend Developer, you will work closely with customers to design and build modern frontend solutions for critical applications in React. They develop in a highly Agile/Scrum focused environment. Their core frontend stack is HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, but they are open to candidates with strong exposure to other JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or Vue who have the desire and aptitude to pick up React quickly.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Create and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance front-end applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
  2. Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
  3. Partner with cross-functional teams, including product management, back-end development, and QA, to deliver superior software solutions.

Requirements:

  1. In-depth experience designing and building JavaScript frontend applications, ideally in React.
  2. Strong experience with HTML and CSS.
  3. Experience developing in a highly Agile/Scrum environment.
  4. Familiarity with CICD, containerization, deployment technologies, and cloud platforms (Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS).
