Premises Recruitment Ltd is pleased to present an exciting opportunity for a Senior Design Manager to join our client, a leading construction main contractor. With a turnover of c.£15m, they specialise in public and private sector projects including schools, social housing, and commercial developments.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Design Manager to manage 6-7 projects simultaneously, with average project values ranging from £3-8m. As Design Manager, you will oversee the design team, appoint and liaise with external engineers and architects, and ensure the smooth flow of information and document control.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage design team meetings and ensure effective communication
  2. Appoint and liaise with outsourced engineers and architects
  3. Oversee the flow of information and document control
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of several years' experience working on similar projects
  • An excellent understanding of construction management principles
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
Salary and Benefits
