Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)
Location:Coventry
Salary:£35,000 to £40,000 per annum
Hours:3 Shift Rotation / 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am
We are seeking an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer with the ability to fault find on Siemens PLC to help reduce downtime and maximise machine capability.
Key Responsibilities:- Time served apprentice or NVQ in mechanical and electrical engineering.
- Ability to demonstrate understanding and ability to read electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic technical drawings.
- Previous PLC fault finding experience - Siemens.
- Ideally, you will have your 18th Edition in Electrical installation.
- Maintenance, repair & continuous improvement of production machinery, equipment & systems, including daily/weekly routine maintenance activities in combination with supporting continuous improvement activities.
- Participation in the identification and procurement of consumables & machine spares.
- Accompany, assist and monitor service engineers, contractors, and vendors as required.
- Ensure efficient shift handovers to ensure machines and plant are safe & maintained at optimum operational condition.
- Reading and understanding electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic technical drawings.
