Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Gastrointestinal Endoscopist to join our gastroenterology department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality endoscopic procedures to patients with gastrointestinal conditions, while contributing to the development of our services and programs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Providing specialist endoscopic procedures to patients with gastrointestinal conditions
• Contributing to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experience
• Engaging in educational activities to promote knowledge sharing and best practices among colleagues
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and experience:
• Full registration with the GMC
• CCT in Gastroenterology and General (internal) Medicine
• Experience teaching undergraduates and postgraduates, with evidence of effective teaching skills
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both oral and written
• Good IT skills and ability to use a computer
• Agreement to live within 15 miles of the Trust or within 30 minutes travel by car, with a valid driving license and access to a vehicle
