Responsibilities

• 
  
• Carry out assigned tasks with precision and quality, adhering to Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures.
  
• Collaborate with a close-knit team, providing effective communication, flexibility, and commitment to all shift patterns and overtime as required.
  
• Identify safety concerns, report them immediately to your Team Leader, and contribute to continuous improvement through Kaizen initiatives.
  
• Work within the company's sub and final assembly production areas, meeting regulatory quality standards and customer specifications.
  
• Embody a safety-first mindset, adhering to GKN Aerospace's Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and standards.
  

Requirements

• 
  
• Experience as an aircraft fitter, supported by evidence of a time-served apprenticeship or relevant certification.
  
• Developed sense of pride in work, with a strong focus on quality and attention to detail.
  
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a desire to work collaboratively in a high-performing team.
  
• Safety-focused and committed to adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.
  
• Eligibility to work in the UK and ability to obtain UK National Security Vetting (UKNSV) Security clearance (SC).
