Ageas Insurance Limited is seeking a highly skilled Senior Actuarial Analyst to join our Capital Modelling Team. As a key member of our Actuarial Department, you will play a crucial role in supporting our strategy in the non-life business and managing Technical Provisions valued at approximately £2bn.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Capital and Solvency Modelling: Investigate new methods to improve modelling processes, attend Group-wide committee meetings, validate models, and update documentation.
  • Quarterly Solvency Reporting: Work with the Financial Planning team to agree forward-looking assumptions, estimate Technical Provisions, and calculate Solvency Capital Requirements.
  • Process Improvement: Utilize new tools and technology to enhance models and processes within the team.
  • Ad-hoc Queries: Investigate queries from across Ageas UK, Ageas Group Functions, and the PRA.
Requirements:
  • A partially qualified Actuary.
  • Experience with tools such as Excel, PowerBI, VBA, and R.
  • Ability to clearly document models and processes.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to communicate complex ideas.
