**Job Title:** Electrical Control Systems Specialist

 

We are a managed service provider partnering with an automotive company to handle their recruitment process. The company manufactures revolutionary technology for the advanced mobility sector and offers a fantastic work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Specify, design, and document control algorithms for motors like axial permanent magnet motors
  2. Model, analyze, and simulate motors and high voltage electric drives
  3. Design and implement motor control algorithms using model-based development tools
  4. Develop control algorithms for embedded control systems based on requirements
  5. Verify and validate motor control algorithms including calibration and testing in HIL, dynamometer, and vehicle test environments
  6. Support test teams to perform comprehensive motor and inverter characterization
  7. Liaise with a multi-disciplinary team to support development and integration of various subsystems
  8. Maintain understanding of new technologies, methods, and products

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in motor control principles and strong understanding of three phase power switching topologies. A degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent is required.

Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum
