Hours: 22.5 hours per week
We are seeking a skilled professional to provide support and care for children aged 2-5 years old in our nursery class.
The successful candidate will work closely with the nursery staff to implement the development of the curriculum and adapt quickly to fulfilling the educational and social needs of pupils.
The ideal candidate will have a relevant qualification enabling registration with the Scottish Social Service Council (SSSC) as a Support Worker in Day-care of Children's Services.
About the Role:
- Support the nursery staff in providing care and education for children aged 2-5 years old
- Participate in the implementation of the development of the curriculum within our nursery class
- Work collaboratively with staff in school, with colleagues in other establishments and agencies, and consult regularly with parents and carers
Requirements:
- Relevant qualification enabling registration with the SSSC as a Support Worker in Day-care of Children's Services
- Ability to adapt quickly to fulfilling the educational and social needs of pupils in our Nursery
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Working Arrangements:
The post may be suitable for secondment. Agreement from your line manager must be sought before applying for this post. Hours will be discussed at interview.
