Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Personal Assistant to support a 22-year-old full-time wheelchair user. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with daily living tasks, providing emotional support, and enabling the individual to lead an independent and active life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily living tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to the individual.
- Accompany the individual to appointments, social events, and recreational activities.
- Assist with transportation and ensure the correct insurance is held.
- Support the individual with their physical and mental health needs.
- Respect the individual's privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Communicate effectively with the individual, their family, and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
- Full driving license.
- DBS check with no criminal record.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and empathetic nature.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect the individual's privacy.
