We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Adventure Instructor to join our team at Bray Lake Watersports. As an integral member of our staff, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging adventure activities to students of all ages and skill levels.
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience)
Job Description:
Promote physical activity and outdoor exploration through various adventure activities, such as kayaking, sailing, and windsurfing. Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver new programs, improving existing ones and ensuring they meet the needs of diverse student groups. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, emphasizing teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Regularly inspect and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.
Requirements:
You must hold a valid BC Instructor Qualification, Current First Aid Certificate, and ideally RYA Powerboat Level 2, BSUPA Instructor Ticket, Windsurf/Sailing Instructor Ticket. You should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to effectively engage with students, colleagues, and external partners. The ability to work independently and as part of a team, while maintaining a flexible and adaptable attitude, is essential for success in this role.
