Conveyancing Solicitor

We are seeking a skilled Conveyancer or Property Solicitor to join our team in Sittingbourne, Kent.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking conveyancing work and providing a profitable contribution to the firm.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct matters on behalf of clients, demonstrating a high degree of competence in all conveyancing matters.
- Manage support services, including supervision of own support staff.
- Participate in marketing activities, networking, and developing new business.
- Exercise financial control, particularly regarding cash flow control through collection of monies on account and billing procedures.
- Provide assistance to other fee earners within the office/firm as required.
- Billing clients in accordance with notified charging rates and achieving financial targets for income.
- Minimizing risk in dealing with all work and ensuring that all files are managed in accordance with the firm's risk and file management procedures.
- Undertaking suitable training and complying with the firm's training policy and the competency framework of the SRA.
- Completion of a degree and LPC or technical qualification.
- Strong IT skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A willingness and drive to learn and succeed.
