About the Position

SS&C Technologies is seeking a seasoned Director of Financial Planning to oversee financial reporting, manage processes carried out offshore, and ensure regulatory compliance. As a key member of our finance team, you will work closely with actuarial and tax teams to deliver high-quality financial reports.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting
  • Produce accurate statutory accounts on a quarterly basis.
  • Interact with actuarial and tax teams as necessary.
  • Ensure controls and reconciliations are in place and regularly reviewed.
SII Reporting
  • Lead the production of SII quarterly returns and annual reports.
Finance Ops
  • Oversight and day-to-day management of the finance operations team.
  • Ensure the team is adequately resourced and trained.
Programme Initiatives
  • Support the implementation of relevant finance-related programmes.
Business Partnering
  • Act as the primary point of contact for business partners during the annual budget cycle.
BAU and Staff Management
  • Manage daily operational activities and ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Oversee staff performance reviews and development plans.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, with a strong background in finance and experience in managing teams. A salary of around $120,000 - $180,000 per year is available, depending on experience.
