Job Title: Data Architect

Searchability NS&D is seeking a skilled Data Architect to join our team in Southampton. As a Data Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing data-intensive solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop data strategy and governance frameworks for Defence and Government clients.
  • Design and implement data pipelines and platforms for structured and unstructured data applications.
  • Collaborate with data engineers to deliver data solutions that meet client needs.
  • Communicate data strategy and technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders and technical experts.
  • Provide technical guidance and coaching to junior team members.
Requirements:
  • Strong experience in data strategy and governance, with a focus on Defence and Government clients.
  • Ability to design and implement data pipelines and platforms for structured and unstructured data applications.
  • Excellent communication and technical skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working in an Agile framework and with cloud-based technologies.
  • Strong understanding of data and software engineering principles, with the ability to provide technical guidance and coaching to junior team members.
