Warehouse Operations Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Utility Operator to join our team at Faerch. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our warehouse and production processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure production is adequately serviced/replenished with required materials, including palettes, cardboard boxes, and bags.
- Load and fill the wrap machine in preparation for wrapping, following established procedures.
- Report any hazards or near misses to the Warehouse Team Leader, including racking damage, equipment faults, and other safety concerns.
- Regularly complete designated training and procedure updates to maintain a high level of knowledge and competence.
- Comply with all current Health & Safety policies and procedures, maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and housekeeping in the work area, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with team leaders and other personnel, including external customer/supplier delivery drivers, to ensure seamless operations.
- Perform other duties as requested by the Team Leader or other Managers, within the scope of your job role.
- A valid Ride-On Stacker Truck licence is desirable, but full training will be provided.
- Previous experience working in a yard/warehouse environment is beneficial, but not essential.
- Competent IT user with good verbal communication skills.
- Ability to take and follow instructions, with a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration.
